Course NT-GDPR-F GDPR basics

The course is for those who wants understand legal Aspects General regulations protection data General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Attendees learn about the historical background of the GDPR, its legal foundations, principles, individual rights, consent issues, data breaches, the role and responsibilities of the Data Protection Commissioner (DPO), data transfers outside the EU, enforcement and legal action, and the interaction of the GDPR with other laws.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • understand the historical context, legal basis and key principles of the GDPR.
  • analyze and apply the rights of individuals, in particular in the context of consent, data breaches and data transfers outside the EU.
  • interact with the Commissioner for Protection of data (DPO) taking into account roles and responsibilities, as well as understand how GDPR intersects with other legal requirements, and manage potential conflicts between regulations.
